CATALYST
Founded in 2001, CATALYST was the brainchild of Steve Hughes who saw the need in the construction industry to bring information and representation to the owner's side of the table. Most of the time in construction projects, the owner is the weakest link in terms of understanding construction processes and negotiations. We bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the owner's corner of the contractor, architect, owner triangle. We have been a strong force in representing a number of client types including homeowners, condominium associations, developers, and housing associations, almost always saving them significant sums of money.
As an augment to the Construction Management and Owner Representative services, Steve believed that detailed and efficient preparation and development of construction projects needed initial investigation, inspection and clear, concise and detailed reports that give the owner information necessary to prioritize and have a comfort level about the upcoming project(s). As a result, a number of inspection and reporting products have been developed that target specific issues with building and property problems. These include:
